The Slayer is a new profession for Dragonbane (Drakar och Demoner) with 2 brand-new heroic abilities to choose from, both for the Slayer and any other combat-focused characters.

Slayers are known as lots of different things. Some claim to be warriors or soldiers. Others work as bodyguards or bounty hunters. In the end, it’s all a lot of different names for the same thing: someone who’ll do the killing that needs to be done.

Some slayers specialize in beast and monster hunting, patrolling and clearing areas to keep the towns and villages nearby safe. Many a manticore and griffon have fallen to the blade of a slayer looking to protect the land she calls home. Or the land that matches her price in coin.

Nightkin such as orcs and goblins and ogres are all popular prey for slayers with a grudge. Trolls and ‘taurs (mino- and cen- both) meet a lot of slayers with a chip on their shoulder.

The most elite slayers, and maybe the ones with the shortest life expectancies, they’re the ones that go after big game. Dragons, demons, giants, vampires. That sort of thing. Those souls have something to prove. Along with the skills and expertise to do it.
